Certifications
The ReMade in Italy® certification, issued by an accredited third-party certification body for the Elachem S.p.A. facility in Vigevano, certifies the recycled and by-product content incorporated into the saturated polyester resins of the ELAPOL 87** product line. The certification has been obtained in compliance with the ReMade® Technical Specification, ensuring full material traceability and adherence to the Italian Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM). The certified products contain polyethylene terephthalate (PET) derived from 100% post-consumer waste recycling, complemented in specific formulations by recovered glycols generated as internal by-products. The overall recycled content ranges from 3.5% to 40%, depending on the resin grade, placing the products within Performance Classes B and C of the certification scheme. This certification demonstrates Elachem’s tangible commitment to the principles of the circular economy, the enhancement of sustainable resources, and the reduction of the environmental footprint of its polymer materials.
